Beach access is provided by our trolleys, which run throughout the community on a 30 minute schedule from May to October.
At the beach, guests are greeted by our valets, who are happy to assist in taking personal items to the beach. Many choose to use the beach gear available for sale or rent through the valet service, including chairs, umbrellas, surf boards, and kayaks. Guests can then arrive at the beach and enjoy the cool waters and sunshine, while our staff sets up umbrellas and chairs and delivers food or drinks from the Snack Shack to their beach site. The Snack Shack offers sunscreen and tee shirts for sale in addition to the cold drinks, snacks, sandwiches.

 Fitness Center
Lighthouse Resort Services staffs the fitness center with seasoned employees whose studies are in the field of hospitality and leisure. Every guest is met with a smile and warm greeting.
Included at the center is an indoor arcade. Featured entertainment includes ping- pong, air hockey, foosball, bocce ball, basketball,lighted tennis courts, horseshoes, volleyball, and an outdoor children's play area.
The upper level of the center is reserved for the fitness equipment, and is limited to those 16 or older. There are bench presses, free weights, treadmills, elliptical runners, and stationary bikes available for use. Complimentary towels and cool water are offered.
Baby-sitting services may be arranged through the center.
Walking and Biking trails...
meander through the resort. Visitors will notice the friendly atmosphere of the community while strolling or biking. Everyone smiles and chats along the route.
Security
Upholding the level of privacy our guests expect, The Currituck Club security officers interact with each individual entering the community. Video surveillance combined with entry logs help us to document each guest, technician, and visitor that enter the gates.
Security personnel also conduct routine patrols and are on call 24/7.
The Harris Teeter Center...
contains the gourmet grocery store, an ice cream parlor, coffee and sandwich shop, a pizza shop, candy store, and a sport shop with surfing, fishing and sports equipment. These conveniences are just outside the main entry into the resort.
